Free Snags!

I have decided to show You some snags from my group (on CafeMom) that I made. Feel Free to click on them and save to Your computer! If You add Your name that is fine too, but please Do NOT cover up the COPYWRITE info OR My Signature info as it is against the law! Do NOT colorize or resize them! The snags that I make are all from kits made by others. I do read the TOU and if You see I am not following one PLEASE LET ME KNOW! It wasn't my intention not to follow it. (I do mix kits to make siggies original)

DO NOT GIVE TO OTHERS OR PUT OTHER PEOPLES NAMES ON THEM. DO NOT STEAL MY SNAGS AND SAY THEY ARE YOURS OR USE IN OTHER GROUPS.  All SNAGS on my site are for PERSONAL USE ONLY!

Thank You's are nice (I love comments on my snags), but not required. I believe if You are thankful for getting beautiful free snags that You like You will comment, I should not have to beg for them. One comment is ok for all my stuff... I do not expect You to comment on every single post, unless you want to. :) If you are looking for something specific, leave me a message and let me know and I will see what I can do. I love to make others smile...that is why I do what I do and that is what I get my own happiness from.

Results are In :)

Greetings Everyone!

Sorry I wasn't here for a bit. Right after we got the results and everything I had some doctor's appointments and things that kept me busy and out of commission for a bit. I had a LOT of dental work done. I am still recovering... but I can actually eat some food now, well as long as it is soft lol.

Anyhow Ryan's results are in..... We got some bad news and some good news!

So I will say the good news first.... They said Ryan's scans have no active cancer and so He is in preliminary remission again!!! I am sooo thankful and relieved! They will continue to do scans as He is not out of the woods yet. We are back to waiting the five years starting now. Which sucks being We had almost two years gone already since He was first diagnosed. But We will celebrate his results and live for today.

The bad news: Ryan was told that they thought He might have a benign tumor in his pituitary gland. Benign because it didn't show up on the scans. They have been checking his hormones and he has some that are a little elevated and one that is very low. So they are doing more testing. His doctor sent him to an Endocrinologist. Who is doing more tests but thinks there is something else going on and He doesn't have a tumor there. So that is good news in a round about way lol

He went to the Endocrinologist and was told they think he has what is called water diabetes. He doesn't have issues with sugar. But his body isn't keeping fluids in. He already drinks a gallon of water every day and now they want him to double up on fluids. His condition can turn really bad if he got sick and got dehydrated. We will be finding out more about all of this in the next few weeks. They are also concerned with his thyroid. So they are keeping us very busy!

I hope to be able to be back online a bit more often. But with summer coming I know I will be busy out of the house too. Ryan may not get a second chance and We want to spend time doing all the fun things You can do during the summer that we have not been able to do in the last two years. Including camping and fishing and swimming. Living in Minnesota and having all of those things available all summer long will be a great way to spend time together. Out of the house! Since during the winter we are home bound for the most part. (Other than doctors appointments that is lol)

I hope You have a wonderful summer too! I will be in and out as I said :)

Hugs!

Please keep Ryan and I in Your thoughts today.

Please keep Ryan and I in Your thoughts today (March 18th). We are leaving at 6 am to get to the clinic by 7. Then Ryan will have a MRI and a PET Scan. And just after one we will get the results. We have been waiting for these scans since January. It is going to be a long and stressful day. This weekend we are going to be spending one on one time. Making some big decisions... depending on what the results are. Then next week we are going to be telling our families. I will let everyone know here as well. I am hoping and praying that the cancer is gone and STAYS gone this time!
Sending hugs to You! Have a wonderful weekend!

My First Blog Award!!

Whooots! I got my first blog award from Gina @ Gina Speaks

Thank You SO Much!! (she is also my first follower!)

Here is the award:

And in order to accept the blog award I have to find five blogs with less than 200 followers. Well the only blogs I know are the digi scrap blogs and blogs like that which I thought would have way more than 200 followers so I was on the blog hunt! I finally found the five I wanted to post so here they are!

Black Widow Creationz is one of my favorite scrap kit blogs I was surprised to see she has less than 200!! So she is on my list! She has lots of freebies too!

My Tubed Art is a great place to find artwork! There is many different kinds of artwork that You can purchase for using in your own projects. They also have many links to other artists! They only have 24 followers so get on over there!

Crafted by Gina is another great scrap kit blog! You should check out her beautiful work!

Annaica's Place is a great blog to find all kinds of template fun! She makes siggies with GIMP and helps others to learn how. I know she is on CafeMom in a Group called GIMP Siggy Creations and she helps the owner of the group with a lot of tuts! You should check her out if You love to design siggies as much as I do!

Outside My Window is another card blog. She has some amazing cards.. and lots of chances to win free stamps! She is on the DT for Sweet Pea Stamps as well! Go check her out!

If You find yourself on my blog award list copy the blog award above and pick 5 blogs that have less than 200 followers and link them to your blog like I have done! This is a great way to get a bigger following!

New Look, Update, & An Uplifting Service!!

Greetings Ladies!

Things are looking good around here! I found a great designer of some free backgrounds and headers.. though I do want to learn how to make them myself! And I decided I needed a change now that we have 1 follower! Yay!! Now my blog looks professional! Many thanks to Allie Brown, for this lovely background and header! Awesome! I am really going to try to get this blog up and going!

My husband had his procedure and We are still waiting for the results. We won't know anything until after March 18th. We are praying for good news!! So please keep us in Your thoughts!

I found this really great website. And I think You would enjoy it too if You haven't heard of it yet. It's an easy way to show service men and women how much you truly appreciate their sacrifice and service.

There is two ways that You can help out on this website. 1 is to send letters or have children write letters or color pictures to send to them (They even have coloring pictures that You can print off!) Or 2 is to make cards (blank) for them to write home with.

The website is Operation Write Home.

Usually you would make like 10 of one card and 10 of another card (so it would be 10 thinking of You cards and maybe 10 happy birthday cards) so each person would get one of each. I think the best way to do this is to do it like they suggest and have a card making party, where each person does 1 set of cards... (each person could make 10 or more of the same card).

I think this is a GREAT IDEA! And I can't wait to get started on making some cards!!

Till Next Time,
Amanda

Greetings Everyone :)

Sorry it has been so long since I have been in here. Things have been crazy around here! We moved back to Minnesota in June.

In September we moved from my Mother and Step Father's into our own place! We have been slowly going through my storage, and unpacking. Then we had the holidays. In my family I have at least 6 Christmas gatherings! In fact I am going to one this weekend! I have a huge family. So I have to juggle all sides!

Plus to top it all off we found out that my husband's cancer is back. So We have not been around much and I have neglected this blog!

I have been doing a lot of siggies. And I have been having a hard time keeping up with just that! I am designing for one group, and trying to open my own, which by the way still is sitting there because I have no time right now! I am hoping to open it by Feb 1st. Just in time for Valentine's Day!

Now I have joined another crafting group and I am sooo excited to start it. I have to wait for my printer to get here before I can though :( It is a digi card group. I already love making cards and I can learn a lot from these wonderful ladies! I am so excited!

So once I get it together ... and after my hubby goes through this treatment, I will be back in here to finally get things going. I am also going to try learn how to make my own kits (Hopefully soon) and I will offer them on here as freebies (and maybe eventually in a shop) when I can!

I hope Your New Year is blessed through out!

Hello Everyone!

I decided to open my own blog! I just recently started making siggy's and tags and I googled for scrap kits and that led me here :) I love being creative.

And the first thing I must do is Thank All of those who make scrap kits, masks, doodles and any thing else to do with making tags. If it wasn't for You I would not be able to do what I love to do!

And I must say also... being that my husband was diagnosed with cancer in Feb. of 09... I am his caregiver right now, We live on a limited income So a special thanks goes to those who give out their kits and things for free. I can not afford to pay for all the kits that I use. So I rely on getting the free stuff!

I do not charge anything for my tags. I do it for the joy of doing it. I don't always like what I come up with .. but thats ok. To each their own and someone else might :) As far as my tags go.. I use many different kits and art from different artists. I do not write every single person on there. I do not take any credit for any of the elements or papers or kits that I do use.

IF I make something from Your kit and You wish me to do something different please just let me know. I know that the TOUs are there. I do read them. If I haven't follwed it it isn't because I meant not to, so please let me know. I just think if there is like twenty different elements or papers in one tag ... it is a little hard to list them all on the tag! I do make sure I put the poser copywrite on them. Or if all or most scraps came from one designer then I put them on there as well.

If You would rather I didn't use something please let me know.

ALL my tags are personal use only.

I hope You enjoy my site.. Please be patient while I learn how to put it together! :) Also I will be adding my own poetry and thoughts in here either as blog, or in my tags. I hope You enjoy it! Only rules I have right now are.. NO DRAMA! It will not be tolerated at all. I have enough stress in my life right now. And please, if You use my poetry... credit me.
Thank You
Amanda Kreger
